Born and raised in Chicago, violinist Steve Gibons is regular performer on the Chicago jazz scene. He has traveled widely, absorbing music from a host of different cultures– Blues and Jazz from his home town, East European Roma (Gypsy) music, Klezmer, classical Arabic Music, Flamenco, and, Gypsy Jazz from Western Europe.
